As a young adult, I have found myself visiting my past and all the mountains I’ve had to climb ranging from education, family, friends and the ever-demanding social life. Education has been and remains “Ufunguo wa Maisha” in the sense that whether you are in a classroom or with an apprentice you are learning a skill or two or more depending on your enthusiasm and motivation. As years pass by and with the aim of Sustainable Development Goals 4; Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life-long learning opportunities for all, there remains a challenge in ensuring that everyone gets to a classroom and access modern education. You would ask yourself why I am dwelling on education, the answer is that education shapes our lifestyles. The day-in-day-out decisions, events and developments are all as a result of information we acquire from different platforms including peer education.

To be more precise, look around you then the outside world that surrounds you, what do you see? Education has helped improved the standards of living by helping to reduce poverty in that individuals like you and I have been prepared and well equipped with skills that we have utilised in our different environments to change lives. Education is an indicator of quality life even though we all may not have the same standard of living, it is unanimously accepted that education has an impact on the lifestyle of an individual. It is a basis for human civilisation and a major driver when it comes to economic development and growth. As we embark on this journey health and lifestyle blogging journey, remember, it is a give and take world sometimes you may give more than you receive or receive more than you give, the bottom line is your one plus my one brings a difference and dictates our lifestyles.

Be inspired! Be motivated! Be encouraged! Above all be challenged to be greater today than you were yesterday.
